Job summary
We have an opportunity for an experienced and committed pharmacy technician to join the Mile End Pharmacy Dispensary. The post holder will lead on a full range of dispensing activities, using their enthusiasm to motivate the team to meet department deadlines, as well as participating in the line management of junior staff. You will use pharmacy computer systems and robotics to co-ordinate and maintain the supply of medicines.
You should have great communication and interpersonal skills; be calm, flexible and adaptable; and be able to work in a dynamic environment.
You will be expected to develop good working relationships with other staff within pharmacy and with the multidisciplinary team.
All applicants must have completed a BTEC / NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent and be registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will possess an accreditation in medicines management training (AIMMS/MOPs) and have completed accredited checking technician training (ACPT) .
