Job summary
The post gives the opportunity to work within the MSK Orthopaedic Triage service and MSK Physiotherapy service, contributing to its development, as well as developing an understanding of the wider health care community. The post holder will be supporting the Band 6 and 7 Physiotherapists within the team involving supervision, appraisal and in-service training. There will be opportunities to attend relevant external courses for both service and individual developmental purposes.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an individual, who is an excellent team worker that can help develop the MSK triage service, with a predominately GP referred list, working alongside the existing Advanced Physiotherapy (ESP) team. This person must be self-motivated and able to keep an up-to-date knowledge base. There would be an expectation of an advanced level skill set, including Injection Therapy, with Sonography and Independent Prescribing desirable. An ability to work under pressure and to be able to respond and adapt to changes is a must in the current NHS environment
