We are seeking two Community Nursing Team Leads to work within the Mid Bedfordshire Locality.

You will be a strong leader, focused on achieving real improvements in outcomes for patients and will be confident in your ability to support, coach and develop individuals and teams to deliver consistently high quality services. You will be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job

You will take pride in your work and be highly motivated and dynamic, have a flexible approach and be able to embrace change. Being a collaborative worker and the ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders is essential. You must hold the DNSPQ qualification, or be working towards this.

You will provide day to day operational and line management of community nursing teams, work alongside clinicians to support complex patient reviews and mentor nurse colleagues.

One post will be based in Shefford Health Centre, aligned to the Shefford Community Nursing teams and the second in Steppingley Hub aligned to the Ampthill Community nursing teams.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Post-registration qualification in clinical field eg: SPQDN (or working towards SPQDN)
