Job summary
You will be required to assist in the delivery and coordination of a programme of physical health activities for service users with a verity of mental health conditions- this ranges from group and 1:1 input - including a variety of sports and gym sessions. These sessions will take place in our purpose built Gym and across the Inpatient wards.
These position is a bank role but we would have an expectation of the applicant to be able to offer at least two days on a regular basis. We are open seven days per week and we want our service to represent evenings and weekends as well as Monday to Friday and/or Sunday - Saturday. The ideal candidate will work across inpatient wards with the possibility of some community sports groups.
There are good facilities include ward gyms and off ward gym. Community groups such as tennis etc. and good community outdoor areas. The role also includes accessing patients and making links with the wider inpatient team.

The ideal candidate must have relevant up to date fitness qualifications - certification must be provided at interview if shortlisted.
