Main duties of the job

As the Fundraising Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Charity Lead and Board in driving the fundraising and outreach strategy of the ELFT Charity. Your primary focus will be coordinating and executing effective fundraising activities while also enhancing the charity's brand visibility and public awareness.

Working closely with the Charity Lead, Board, and key stakeholders, you will help shape the charity's objectives and support its long-term goals. This includes identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities, building relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners, and ensuring all efforts align with the charity's mission and values.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

  • Professional fundraising management qualification

Previous Experience

Essential

  • A proven track record of fundraising, achieving or exceeding income and activity targets from both community and corporate streams using a variety of fundraising methods
  • Experience of successfully planning and managing projects, events, campaigns and budgets
  • Experience of working to and achieving income and activity targets
  • Experience of recruiting, managing and supporting volunteers and fundraising groups
  • Experience of securing significant support and account managing, developing and retaining charity partners

Desirable

  • Experience of managing/controlling budgets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience of successful fundraising in heath and/or mental health related charity sector

Skills, abilities and attributes

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and developing successful relationships at all levels including individuals, corporate partners and grant-makers
