Job summary

Calling all Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses or Registered Learning Disability Nurses - both experienced and newly qualified.

We have vacancies in our W omens Service for Staff Nurses (Band 5) at the Forensic Service both at John Howard Centre and Wolfson House.

As a Staff Nurse, your role will be to provide holistic nursing care to patients from admission to discharge and to work with the ward management team to innovate and inspire change and excellence across all aspects of the care environment. You will be a role model to unregistered nursing staff and able to demonstrate care and compassion in all that you do.

You might be a newly qualified nurse or a more experienced practitioner. Your focus will be on the recovery of patients and improving the patient experience. We offer an excellent preceptorship programme to newly qualified nurses and a nurse development programme to all registered nursing staff, as well as opportunities to apply for an Aspiring Leadership Programme for those who wish to progress into management. Supervision and support and reflective practice is offered to all staff.
