We have vacancies on both our adult inpatient wards and CAMHS inpatient wards (The Coborn Centre) for Staff Nurses (Band 5).

As a Staff Nurse attached to a ward your role will be to provide holistic nursing care to patients from admission to discharge and to work with the ward management team to innovate and inspire change and excellence across all aspects of the care environment. You will be a role model to unregistered nursing staff and able to demonstrate care and compassion in all that you do.

Main duties of the job

- Lead in the planning, implementation and evaluation of group and individualised nursing care using where possible, evidence-based practice.

- Work closely and collaboratively with patients, families/carers and the multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

- Take and record patient observations as required.

- Assist with patients' personal care.

- To promptly report all observed change in service user conditions, accidents, incidents and other important information and take action as directed
