Job summary

Full Time Band 8a Position working as a non-medical prescriber in the Tower Hamlets CAMHS ADHD pathway, in addition to work as a highly specialist CAMHS practitioner in primary care across six GP practices in Stepney and Whitechapel.

Main duties of the job

ADHD Pathway:

  1. To provide a highly specialist practitioner and non-medical prescribing service within CAMHS to children, young people with mental health problems and their families. This is a community-based nursing post, located within CAMHS, with close working with GP services.
  2. To provide specialist advisory, training, consultation and liaison to support staff, teachers and multi-disciplines across Education and Children and Young People's Services.
  3. To provide supervision and management, in agreement with the CAMHS Senior Management Team, to Band 6 and 7 CAMHS clinical posts within Tower Hamlets as applicable, and to participate in the operational management of the ADHD Team.

PCN Community Hub

You will have a responsibility in continually improving the quality and performance of the PCN Community Hub alongside the Service Manager. The list below is not exhaustive but reflects the main duties of the post. Reinforcing the importance of integrated, holistic approaches and person-centered care.
  2.
