Job summary
We are looking for someone who is interested in working within a Learning Disability Team with a genuine desire to make a difference to our service users.
Luton & Bedfordshire Mental Health & Wellbeing Services provided by ELFT (East London Foundation Trust) is advertising a full-time vacancy (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday) Administrative Assistant post to provide administrative support to the Countywide Learning Disability Team.
Main duties of the job
You will have responsibility for providing administrative support to designated areas. You will also be expected to cover other members of the admin team when required (this will involve travel to both sites- Clapham, Bedfordshire and Dunstable, Bedfordshire).
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident person who is able to take initiative, work flexibly, and effectively priortise tasks to ensure the smooth delivery of high quality clinical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring relevant timescales are met, and to ensure that information can be retrieved whenever necessary and to meet agreed Trust targets and objectives.
You will need to show experience in working in an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service, demonstrate the ability to work within evolving systems, and to work alongside clinical staff and senior managers. You should have a very positive attitude to work in what can be a challenging environment.
