Job summary
We are looking for someone to be a part of of our small and friendly quality and performance team who is people focused with an eye for detail, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and to be able to use their influence and engagement skills to communicate closely with teams and services.
This post is a fixed term or secondment for a period of 12 months to cover staff member secondment.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will use Envoy, Datix and other systems to ensure there is high quality data on complaints and compliments to support quality improvements at a qualitative level of analysis. The post holder will ensure that accurate, relevant and timely reports are prepared for a number of audiences including the ICB and Directorate management groups. The postholder will be working closely with teams on how to engage service user feedback including different methods of use will provide regular updates and strategies to services.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience gained in a specialised data focused role.
Skills/Abilities
Essential
- Computer Literacy and advanced word processing skills (MSOffice Word)
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Able to provide and receive sensitive and complex information, and then presenting the key themes and outcomes of this.
- Able to use systems such as datix and excel to analyse data and present this graphically.
- Able to design and maintain an information system to capture information about complaints not available on datix.
- Able to plan a complex programme of work to ensure that regular complaints updates are given in the directorates and that all reporting deadlines are met and to adjust this as required.
- Able to provide advice to other members of staff about using datix or complaints data.
Desirable
- Advanced Excel Skills including use of pivot tables and creation of SPC charts.

- Experience of producing complex reports from datix or a similar system
