Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for the management and provision of a comprehensive high quality, effective administration and support service to the Nurse Education Team. The post holder will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks as well as development and implementation of office systems. The post holder will ensure the smooth running and coordination of a range of development programmes and training sessions, as well as other specialist programmes, that meet the needs of the Nursing Directorate and the Lead for Advanced Roles, including oversight and co-ordination of the recruitment and supervision of Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

Main duties of the job

  1. Responsibility for ensuring that full administrative support is provided to the Nurse Education Team and the Lead for Advanced Roles to advance the workforce transformation work of the Trust.
  2. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Trust's Corporate Business Guidelines by implementing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement as appropriate and implementing change, making maximum use of technology with the ultimate aim of achieving a paperless office.
  3. To assist with undertaking training needs analysis in partnership with the Nurse Education Team.
  4. To liaise with the Leads for Development regarding training delivery and training needs analysis for nurses and nursing assistants.
  5. To support the delivery of a range of Trustwide development programmes for various staff bands.
  6. To answer the telephone, dealing with enquiries and queries in person, generic inbox, room bookings, setting up and updating courses and learning outcomes on the Trust systems
  7. To support the delivery of training sessions and other events via Zoom and MS teams
  8. To provide ongoing review and evaluation of training programme delivery and to support and promote new modes of working as require

  • - Diploma or Degree or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

Desirable

  • In depth experience or theoretical study of techniques / processes e.g. BTEC, relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development (CIPD)
  • o AMSPAR
  • Post graduate studies in Human Resources Management

  • Experience of inputting and analysing data and reporting with a strong attention to detail.
