Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a well-established multidisciplinary Psychiatric Intensive Care inpatient ward team providing care and treatment for local men. This fulltime post is for a general adult consultant psychiatrist and is based on the 11 bedded PICU Millharbour ward at Tower Hamlets Centre for Mental Health, which is situated within a purpose built unit on the Mile End Hospital site close to Mile End and Stepney Green Tube stations.
Main duties of the job
The PICU services in Tower Hamlets have close links with the National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care, and have joint RCpsych/NAPICU accreditation.
There is a supportive collegiate body of consultants in Tower Hamlets and we have an active academic and teaching agenda.
