Job summary

Admin Team Lead

The successful candidate will be joining an Admin Department spanning three sites within the Forensic Service and be responsible for the management of staff, ensuring an efficient and effective administrative provision to ensure service delivery. The candidate will also need to demonstrate good communication skills, whilst working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate will work closely with the Senior Admin Team and demonstrate experience of managing a team and leading on creative ways of working and devising new systems.

The candidate will be expected to work across sites as required.

The interviews will take place via a videoconferencing facility and shortlisted candidates will be expected to conduct a 5-minute presentation on Leading a team through change using MS PowerPoint.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the management of processes ensuring an efficient and effective administrative/secretarial/reception provision to the Service area to ensure service delivery in partnership with local management teams.

Management and monitoring of service area performance objectives and targets via the formulation and implementation of effective in-house systems to ensure accurate capturing of data/record keeping and to revise as and when the need arises ensuring the use of data quality reports.

To be responsible for the line management of staff.

To work alongside and to cover, when appropriate, other administration staff across several locations in some instances.
