We are seeking a passionate individual to join our dynamic team on Ward D5, a 34-bedded general surgery ward specializing in complex surgical care, stoma care, and HDU step-down care. Our patients, coming from a variety of specialties, require skilled and compassionate care, making this an incredibly rewarding place to work.

The Role:

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and hygiene

  • Provide care for patients recovering from surgery, including wound care and monitoring

Main duties of the job

Excellent strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards of care to provide high quality, compassionate care for our patients and their families and ensure that efficient service delivery is maintained.

Enthusiastic and motivated.

Caring nature, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.

To work closely with the nursing team delivering fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting needs, feeding and mobility.

Part of the team approach to avoiding risk and providing the highest quality care.
