Job summary
Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Specialist Grade Anaesthetist to join the friendly and forward thinking team of 30 general consultants and 12 intensive care consultants .
Main duties of the job
Possession of FRCA, Prospective candidates must:
- Hold full registration and a licence to practise with the GMC
- Have completed a minimum of 12 years' medical work since obtaining a primary medical qualification, with at least 6 years in anaesthesia (or relevant specialties) at Specialty Doctor/closed SAS grade or equivalent, including overseas experience
- Have a minimum of two years UK NHS experience
- Demonstrate that they meet the Specialist Grade Generic Capabilities Framework for Anaesthesia.
EDAIC or another recognised higher qualification is desirable but not essential. Applicants without these qualifications are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and experience through their portfolio.
