Job summary
The post holder is an integral part of the Infection Prevention & Control service team, providing administration duties, maintaining IPC supplies, stock ordering, liaising and interacting with other healthcare professionals, patients relatives and staff and signposting people to the appropriate member of staff
The post holder will assist and prepare for regular IPC meetings and support the note taking and follow up actions as required.
The post holder will maintain up to date and accurate team diaries which include making appointments, arranging meetings, events and venues.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will provide general administrative support to the IPC service team
- The post holder will contribute to the standardisation of administrative systems and processes within the IPC service
