Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Trust's Employee Services Department for a Workforce Officer. You will be part of a busy butfriendly team striving to provide the highest quality service to its customers. As part of the Workforce team, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of personal and contractual information for employees of the organisation.Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all relevant administrative systems are maintained in a timely and accurate manner, providinghelpdesk support and training and ensuring that all relevant processes are carried out in line with Trust policies.You will use the Electronic Staff Record (ESR), e-mail systems and other HR systems to provide timely and accurate provision of workforce information in line with agreed organisation requirements.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the jobo To input staff information received from wards and departments via the Trust online forms into the Electronic Staff Record system(ESR), in accordance with NHS terms and conditions including new starter information, staff post changes, leaver information, changes of personal details, in a timely manner.o Have understanding of Trust policies and work closely with the Payroll team on statutory legislation.o Liaise with managers, employees and HR advisors and other sections in the department to provide support and advice and clarificationof data, escalating issues to the Workforce Team Leader as appropriate.o Prioritise own workload and that of the Workforce Apprentice to meet pay affecting deadlines.o Provide customer focussed helpdesk support which may include email, telephone, face to face meetings.
