Job summary

Children's Speech and Language Therapist.

Working with children in early years and primary age, in our clinic bases / child's nursery or school setting. Supported by an experienced innovative team.

The successful candidate will be registered with the HCPC.The successful candidate will have worked with pre-school and school age children with a range of speech, language and special educational needs. They will have a good grasp of the Early Years and Key stage 1 & 2 curriculum and the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate work in both clinic and educational settings, and will work within the team assessing and treating children with speech language and communication needs

You will be part of a team of very motivated and enthusiastic assistants and qualified therapists serving the needs of the children in the borough. Therapy provided may be in groups, or working on an individual basis with children and their parents or support staff. There is a good network of support for professional development within the service.
