Band 4- Nursing Associate

We have an exciting new role for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our friendly gynaecology team, on the Jasmine Suite.

We are a busy gynaecology outpatient unit based at Stepping Hill Hospital within the division of women's & children's. We have a dedicated team of Specialist Nurses, Staff Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Clerical team all working together to provide a quality service. Currently our clinics run over 5 days and cover a wide range of Women's Health issues Including, General Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Oncology, Fertility, Hysteroscopy and Uro-gynaecology.

We value our staff and encourage training and progression, somebody with some previous gynaecology experience would be an advantage to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team.

Main duties of the job

As a successful applicant you should have good communication skills, be reliable and flexible as working pattern may vary on a week-to-week basis due to clinic demands. As part of your role you would be expected to Set up and over see clinics, Chaperone /assist medical staff/Specialist nurses with clinical procedures.
