Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to join their Integrated Medicine & Surgery team as a Therapy Assistant. Experience in a healthcare setting is essential for this post. The successful candidate will be part of a large, busy acute Medicine and Surgery team located at Stepping Hill Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to work within a multi-disciplinary team supporting holistic treatments to patients under the guidance of a qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. There will also be an administrative part of the role which includes recording statistics, documenting in medical notes, maintaining stock levels, and ordering equipment.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through the delivery of a wide range of evidence based treatments and a robust in service training programme and supervision.
