Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Discharge to Assess team asBusiness Support Administrator. This post is ideal for someone with a positive and pro-active approach and a keen eye for detail looking to strengthen their skills in administration.

Based at Regent House, Stockport you will be responsible for delivering high quality, comprehensive administrative support to the team. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to complete essential day to day administrative tasks, including dealing with telephone enquiries, supporting clinicians with administrative tasks, data inputting and updating actions as required.

Extensive experience of Word, Excel spreadsheets and the ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines are essential requirements for this post.

An understanding of working with EMIS would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

  • To act as the first point of contact for the team - face to face and by telephone
  • To liaise with staff within the team, communicating clear patient updates
  • To create documentation to support patient flow (eg posters, checklists, databases)
  • Maintain existing databases and spreadsheets

Using multiple patient systems as well as Office packages, the successful candidate will deliver an integral role within the Discharge to Assess Team, delivering daily administrative support.

  • Recording of data and collating reports on patient flow.
