Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established community Children's physiotherapy team.
The role will hold a mixed caseload of neurodevelopmental patients working across Stockport in clinics, nurseries/ schools and patient's homes and is supported by experienced clinical band 7 physiotherapists. This is a full time role.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for your own caseload and provide specialist paediatric physiotherapy assessment , treatment , advice and information for children and their families referred to Stockport Children's Therapy services. The children will often have complex needs requiring expert input.
To provide reports, teaching advice and information for other members of the multidisciplinary team and for more junior staff members ensuring a comprehensive, seamless service for children referred to our service.
To supervise, educate and assess the performance of students (this would be to graduate standard and involve working with universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification)
To contribute to service development and audit ensuring the service remains evidence based, up to date and fit for purpose.
