Stockport NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of experienced developers building and maintaining a wide range of our in house developed clinical and non-clinical systems used to support the delivery of care to our patients. Working mainly in VB.net and numerous web-based technologies, the position will be either senior developer or developer which will have a clear career progression and provides exciting opportunities to demonstrate your skill and vision.
Main duties of the job
Designing, building, maintaining and supporting a range of clinical and non-clinical systems across the organisation. Building and maintaining numerous SQL databases including stored procedures, back-up and optimisation. Working with HL7 and interfaces to other systems to connect and send clinical data.

- Educated to degree level in a computer/engineering or technical discipline or an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise combined with a higher education qualification in an IT related subject.

- Good knowledge of ASP, VB .NET, Framework (v 3+), DOM, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
- SQL server
- Wed design principles, CSS, Classes and Ajax
