Job summary
Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Specialist Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic and innovative, to join our Inpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation Unit, based at the Devonshire Centre for Neuro-Rehabilitation (DCNR).
Main duties of the job
The post holder's role will be involved in the rehabilitation and care of patients with neurological conditions, working with the therapy team and the wider MDT team to deliver a high standard of care, delivering holistic rehabilitation.
The successful applicant will have specialist knowledge and skills for assessing and treating patients within neuro-rehabilitation. They will be responsible for organising the Occupational Therapy programme for the specialist unit, implementing goal oriented rehabilitation programmes, attending MDTs and case conferences. They will also be required to support junior Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
