Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, innovative, flexible nurse with management qualities and excellent communication skills.
Leadership is also a key requirement of this position and you will be expected to work closely with your Ward Manager in the running of the unit, caring directly for patients and being a senior point of reassurance for the whole team and the patients in our care.
Promote high standards of professional practice and high quality care delivery within Trust and Departmental policies, protocols and guidelines.
In conjunction with the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, be responsible for the development and review of competencies, protocols and Care Pathways within the department.
Facilitate the development of junior nursing staff.
