Job summary
We have 2 fixed term appointments available for 4 months in the Paediatrics department, from 01 April 2026 - 04 August 2026 only. The posts are full time, and the post holders will be expected to participate in the paediatric medical rota. This is an excellent opportunity within Paediatrics at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be working within the Paediatrics team.
The Trust will look to support doctors who are considering a career in Paediatrics and provide opportunities to further their Paediatric knowledge through exposure to clinics,, ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings and formal teaching.
Main duties of the job
o Delivering care to Newborns in the Neonatal Serviceso Delivering care to the NICU/SCBU, Labour Ward and post-natalo Assessment of referred babieso The review of all babies as neededo Review of protocols as part of the teamo The appointee will be expected to work flexible across the service as required, as and when service needs changeo To take part in outpatient clinics under the supervision of the consultant Paediatricianso Reviewing Paediatric patients throughout their hospital stayo Helping run the Paediatric service
