Job summary
We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Manager - AMU who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are looking for a highly-skilled clinical nurse. They will have overall responsibility for the operational management of clinical service delivery at department level whilst working in partnership with the PSM as an integral part of the nurse management team.

Main duties of the job
The Nurse Team Manager will be responsible for implementing measurable and accountable models of care to ensure consistently high standards of safe patient care.
You will also lead on the development and implementation of directorate policies that support the continuous improvement of patient care and service delivery at ward and departmental level.
The post holder will work collaboratively with senior colleagues and key stakeholders to support service development and redesign initiatives wherever possible.
The successful candidate will also be expected to challenge behaviours that undermine equality and diversity, in line with the principles of the Human Rights Act.
In addition, the Nurse Team Manager will work closely with the operational team to improve patient flow, and with the senior leadership team to support the achievement of Trust objectives.

- Relevant clinical post registration education to include a recognized Mentorship qualification
