Senior Physiotherapist - Rotational

Job summary

We are recruiting for a Senior Physiotherapist - Rotational who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We offer strong professional leadership across the acute therapy service at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. We also offer a community rotation in partnership with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.

Our inpatient service covers Acute Trust rotations at Lister Hospital, Stevenage which includes respiratory care, including on call opportunities; orthopaedics; care of the elderly; stroke/hyper-acute stroke unit; general medical wards and acute medical assessment.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post will include assessment and treatment of patients within the wards at Lister Hospital and in their own homes when on community rotation, supervision and mentoring of non-qualified staff and students, taking part in in-service training, and taking a role in service improvement projects.

You will be actively involved in the respiratory physiotherapy on-call service to the whole of the Lister Hospital site.

You will also be expected to travel easily between trust sites independently.
