We are recruiting for a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is a band 6 to 7 progression role with clear objectives and guidance on progression. It's a great opportunity to secure a band 7 post with fantastic support provided to achieve the objectives, develop your portfolio of skills to prepare you for more senior roles within the department through involvement in directorate and project work focused on improving quality of clinical services and patient-focused care
We are looking for highly motivated pharmacists to join our award winning, innovative, progressive, patient-centred pharmacy team.
We offer a structured rotational program which includes specialities such as ED, acute medicine, critical care, endocrinology, respiratory, Frailty (new exciting rotation), gastroenterology, vascular surgery, aseptic oncology / haematology and a renowned renal services unit, working with a Consultant Renal Pharmacist.
We will fully fund and support you to undertake relevant post graduate training including the prescribing qualification and leadership training.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the multidisciplinary team and provide expert pharmacy services to a variety of inpatient wards.
You will utilise specialist pharmaceutical skills to drive innovation and continuous improvement within selected specialties.
You will also be required to support Pharmacy Team Leads for Unplanned Care/Planned Care, in directorate reporting, audits, guideline/policy updates and financial and medicines information.
The successful candidate will be a clinical mentor and guide junior pharmacists, foundation trainee pharmacists throughout their training programmes.
You will participate in the departmental emergency duty rota, currently less than 1 in 20.
