Job summary
We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Haemodialysis who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The renal service at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recognised as a specialist referral centre for renal medicine serving most of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and parts of Essex.
Dialysis facilities in places such as :
- St Albans City Hospital
- Chiltern Kidney Centre, Dunstable
- Bedford Dialysis Unit
- Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow

Main duties of the job
The post holder will promote high standards of professional practice and high quality care delivery within Trust and department policies, protocols andguidelines.
You will deputise for the Senior Sister and/or Charge Nurse in their absencewith regard to the operational management of clinical service delivery at unit level.
Within your role, you will utilise effective communication methods with nursing and medical colleagues, patients and visitors in ways that are consistent with their level of understanding, culture and background.
You will also need to ensure that legislation, policies and procedures are applied correctly within the renal department.
