Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will provide expertise and support within the RTT Validation team liaising with clinicians, general managers, service managers, service co-ordinators and clerical staff in the delivery of patient care via the Trust's elective waiting lists.
You will be supporting the administration of the patient's referral to treatment (RTT) pathway with advice and training and is responsible for the accuracy of information on the Trust's Patient Tracking Lists.
You will also lead on identified issues and projects to help improve RTT data quality across the Trust.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that patient records' have the correct clock start and stop by validating and interpreting patient pathways from first outpatient appointment through to first definitive treatment. This may involve adjusting and/or correcting patient pathways where inaccurate dataentries have been input into Lorenzo.
Liaise with internal departments and external providers and to ensure that tight deadlines are met (both internal and external). Liaise closely with 18 week validators in the Trust in order to facilitate the patient pathway to ensure the timely management of patient care and that targets are met.
