Job summary

The role involves telephone assessment of patients on the cancer pathway. Good communication skills are essential, the ability to make clear clinical decisions and work closely in a small team. Main duties of the job

On a day-to-day basis you will be reviewing cancer referrals which come in on the Colorectal pathway.

Following protocols to triage patients.

A concise, clear, competent assessment of the patient. This can be an anxious time for patients, so compassion and understanding are required.

You will need to be competent in IT skills and databases. Alongside this you may be required to present data at monthly meeting
