Job summary

We are recruiting for Maternity Ward Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will provide clerical support for the Maternity unit including medical staff and midwives.

Main duties of the job

This role involves covering the main Maternity reception answering phones, inputting notes onto the system and welcoming/directing patients within the Maternity Unit.

The role also involves ward clerking on the postnatal ward letting patients/family members in and out of the ward, updating bed information and supporting the midwifery team.
