We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Same Day Emergency Care who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are currently reconfiguring our SDEC services into a new build which will provide a flow out of ED along with our GP referrals. Medical speciality Hot clinics will also be in the same footprint. This provides exciting opportunities for new ways of working and progression.

Main duties of the job
This role would be ideal for nurses with a medical background who have a passion for acute medicine. The service operates a twelve hour day seven day working 365 days a year.
You will work collaboratively with the senior team in SDEC to deliver effective high quality safe patient centred care following as well the mission and vision of EHNT.
We will support you in your continuing education, training and professional development for the staff, to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge ensuring that nursing staff acquire and maintain the professional standards and competencies when caring for people.
To participate as a member of the nursing team in providing a high standard of research based care. To provide support to the team of staff working in the area in order to deliver a quality service which is linked to high standard of patient care.
To facilitate early discharge planning being carried out to enable appropriate arrangements to be in place.
