Job summary

We are recruiting for a Health at Work Nurse who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will have chances to provide a range of services which protect and promote the health and wellbeing of people at work. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of agreed health at work policies,procedures, protocols and standards of practice.

You will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary,subject to a minimum payment of £1,258 and a maximum payment of £2,121.

Main duties of the job

To provide a range of services which protect and promote the health and wellbeing of people at work.

To promote and maintain high standards of health and safety amongst staff in line with legislation, national guidelines and local policy.

To work in partnership with the Health at Work team to provide evidence based impartial work health advice to managers and employees.

To develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with other teams such as Infection Prevention and Control, Human Resources, Health and Safety and Training.

To participate and promote new health at work initiatives and developments in practice.

To contribute to the development and implementation of agreed health at work policies, procedures, protocols and standards of practice.
