We are recruiting for a Clinical Photographer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Department of Clinical Photography and Illustration (DCPI), based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, is pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to cover maternity cover and be a part of our experienced and motivated team.
To provide professional support to the DCPI.
Contributing to the delivery of a day-to-day operational cost effective and efficient service including clinical photography, non-clinical photography, video, and illustration (graphic design), to the Trust and other allied agencies.
You will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call service.

Main duties of the job
The Clinical Photographer supports all clinical specialities including Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Oral Surgery, ENT and Paediatrics (including sudden infant death and non-accidental injury), taking photographs in the studio, operating theatres, mortuary, outpatient clinics and on the wards.
Illustration (graphic design) and video have now become a major part of the DCPI's remit and the Clinical Photographer will be expected to fully participate in this work using industry standard software e.g. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

- Post-Graduate Certificate in Clinical Photography or equivalent.
- To be registered as a Medical Illustrator on the AHCS Register (Academy for Healthcare Science).
- Ability to travel between sites.
