Job summary

We are recruiting for a Chef Supervisor a who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The Catering Chef Supervisor is an important member of the Catering management team. This is a hands-on position responsible for the control and supervision of patient and staff food services. You will provide assistance and support where necessary, and in the absence of the other supervisors will be required to supervise staff and public food service, vending and hospitality functions.

Main duties of the job

The Chef Supervisor will prepare, cook and serve food for patients, staff and visitors and public.to cater for ad-hoc functions as required.

The successful candidate will follow standard recipes and ensure food is of the specified quality, nutritional standard and in the quantities laid down on the meal requisitions/recipe print out.

Effective hygiene and cleaning of appropriate equipment, workstations, and areas.

The effective supervision of central ware wash activities

Checking and accounting for cash and vouchers taken in all food service areas. To follow standard financial instructions relating to cash controls, stock, and security and to complete any recording sheets as may be required.
