Job summary
We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker- Renal Chiltern Bedfordshire who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The department of renal medicine is located across five sites however yourwork base will be our Chiltern site.
You will work as an integral part of the team and demonstrate a willingness to develop the knowledge and skills required to assist in caring for renal haemodialysis patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Support Worker your role will involve:
Establishing and maintaining communication with people about routine and daily activities overcoming any difficulties in communication between the people involved.
Select and prepare the correct haemodialysis equipment and materials for the delegated task to be undertaken.
Ensure the equipment is clean, tested as appropriate, in working order and set correctly. Appropriately identify and prepare for the movement of patients, machinery and goods
Undertake the delegated task correctly, effectively and to time
Communicate information only to those people who have the right and need to know it, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
