We are recruiting for an RTT Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The delivery of the 18 week waiting time access target is one of the Trust's key priorities and accurate RTT data is critical to the effective performance management and governance of these targets. Successful relationship management and influencing skills are key to the role.
We are looking for a highly organised and dedicated individual with extensive previous experience of RTT and health service performance management.
You will take responsibility for the day to day running of the RTT validation team and support the Elective Access Manager in the operational management of RTT delivery, deputising in their absence. You will provide effective leadership and management to the validation team, setting and delivering validation targets to enable the Trust to be nationally compliant. You will provide validation technical support and be a subject matter expert for the national 18 week RTT rules. You will need a full and deep understanding of both national and local policies relating to RTT Management and ensure that this specialist knowledge is kept up to date.

Main duties of the job
Review, develop and improve current validation processes and documentation, and support the development of the Trust's validation tools and systems.
Review working practices and systems to monitor and ensure compliance, which includes monitoring data input onto the Trust EPR system, Lorenzo and the reports for managing Trust and national RTT guidelines.
Identify issues with patient information and feedback to the divisions, identifying opportunities for improving the quality, efficiency and improvements to the patient's pathway through validation and training.
Support a getting it right first time culture throughout the organisation in terms of accurate information about the patient pathway in the patient administration system.
Provide support to the divisions across the trust to achieve the 18 week target and maintain high standards of professional integrity by adhering to data standards, producing valid and reliable information.
Provide valuable input into how the Trust Access Policy, Lorenzo and Trust systems should move forward when changes required by National Guidelines are made and ensure that changes in legislation and local policy are communicated and trained effectively across the Trust.
