Job summary

We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cancer Division as an the Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre in Stevenage. Both full time and part opportunities available

The Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre is a new, purpose built day unit treating patients with chemotherapy and supportive therapies and outpatients. Being a modern unit we rely on dynamic staff to give our patients an excellent experience whilst here.

Applicants need to have completed an Apprenticeship Level 2 in Health or NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, applicants should also be prepared to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship if they do not already have one.

Main duties of the job

You will assist the Registered Nurses in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

You will have excellent communication skills are required as the post holder will deal with both patients and relatives queries over the telephone and face to face on a daily basis.
