Job summary

We are recruiting for a Medical Education Receptionist Administratorwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will provide a welcoming and efficient reception service and high-quality administrative support for the delivery of training and teaching and associated activities and events at the Lister Education Centre, East and North Herts NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

Provide administrative support for the delivery Lister Education Centre (LEC) activities at East and North Herts NHS Trust.

Provide a welcoming, courteous, and efficient reception service for learners, visitors, and Contractors.

Be expected to work on their own initiative to ensure administration and personal assistance is provided in relation to training and teaching and support to Deputy Medical Education Manager & Foundation Programme Coordinator.

Ensure that facilities and training rooms are kept clean, tidy, and serviceable, reporting maintenance issues as appropriate.

Respond to requests for room bookings in accordance with the Centre Room Booking Policy.

Assist the Deputy Medical Education Manager & Foundation Programme Coordinator in executing induction for medical students and Foundation doctors.

Communicate effectively with a wide range of people and agencies both internally and externally in person on the telephone, virtual and via email.

Participate, as a member of the team, in fulfilling departmental clerical duties e.g. maintaining/obtaining room booking requests, organising room allocation and set up, sending/receiving communication to attendees.
