Call Handler - Phlebotomy

We are recruiting for a Call Handler - Phlebotomy who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are a large friendly team in Phlebotomy. Thisposition is set in our very busy phlebotomy department at the Lister Hospital.

You will be required to take calls from patients wanting to book a blood test at any of our 3 sites. You will have a very sympathetic and supportive approach to callers who are at times anxious about getting blood tests carried out.

Main duties of the job

Receiving calls to support the Swiftqueue appointment system for those people who are unable to book an appointment on line. Deal with calls from other health care professionals booking patients in for blood tests.

You will have full training in the Swiftqueue appointment system and will also be trained in using the Pathology request system (ICE).

Excellent customer service and telephone manner essential.
