Job summary

Main duties of the job

You will assist the General Manager in addressing the Trust's strategic and operational agenda as it relates to the services concerned. They will oversee day to day service management issues, liaising with departments and teams as required.

You will deputise for the General Manager as required.

The role requires an individual with a relevant professional qualification and experience in the management of people and services.

You will promote the service and manage partnership relations with stakeholders working with other Service Managers and Operational Managers.

You will plan and oversee the implementation of the service improvement and development agenda to meet the Elective Recovery national target.

You will ensure compliance with clinical and operational standards and contractual requirements ensuring regular reporting to all stakeholder groups as required by the Divisional Board.
