Job summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Contracts and Performance Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Estates & Facilities Division is looking to recruit a Senior Contracts and Performance Manager; you will report directly to the Strategic Programme Manager and will work closely with procurement and colleagues within the division. You will help with the division's development of resilient integrated contracts.
As the Senior Contracts and Performance Manager for the Trust, you will be a key senior member of the EFM team, shaping and helping to develop and deliver new contracts to deliver high quality services across the organisation.
You will ideally have experience of recruitment management, staff management, establishing and implementing systems, report writing and be able to present data in an engaging way.
You will support the successful achievement of new contracts and monitor the implementation of new services and the implementation of systems and processes relating to the requirements.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, as would previous NHS experience.
You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to support the Directorate of Estates and Facilities.

Main duties of the job
This challenging role would suit individuals with Contract Management and/or Commercial experience who understand contract life-cycle management, complex contractual constructs and who have a proven track record in managing customer/supplier relationships up to and including senior management level.
The post holder will have strong organisational ability, attention to detail, thoroughness, and good commercial acumen
The post holder will have exceptional negotiation, influencing, persuasion and judgment skills with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
You will lead on any contractual issues which arise during the operation of these contracts, working with colleagues both internal and external to the Trust to achieve resolution and so maintain good working relationships with the Trust's clients.
Ability to understand complex contractual agreements for the supply of products and services ideally in a clinical environment.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets.
Strong leadership and management skills including written and verbal communication and experience of dispute resolution.
Ability to identify, plan and drive cost, service and quality improvement initiatives.
