Job summary

We are recruiting for an administrative officer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality administrative support for specialty doctors (SAS) and locally employed doctors (LED) who work in the East of England and at Lister Hospital.

The post will be based at the Lister Hospital within the Medical Education team. The role involves administrative support for a range of projects and initiatives for the SAS & LED doctors workstream and working closely with a number of stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The role involves assisting with the planning and organising of activities and events which assist SAS & LED doctors' training and development in the East of England.

It also involves taking the lead on promoting new initiatives for SAS & LED doctors, undertaking reporting and analysis of project information to support project delivery, and liaising closely with NHS England managers and Lister Hospital managers.

We are looking for someone who is well organised and has excellent administrative skills, is a confident communicator, and has experience of supporting complex projects or programmes and experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and providing information and advice to them.

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience/knowledge from working in a similar area/environment
