Job summary

We are recruiting for a Medical Records Clinic Prep Filing Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The successful candidate will need to be organised and flexible. This is a physical role and will be fast paced. It is a very rewarding role and you will have close working relationships with admin, nursing and clinical colleagues and will be working in patient areas at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to work as a team and as an individual prepping patients notes for clinics/treatment ensuring you use initiative, abide by patient confidentially and forward planning.

You will be required to collect patients notes from various areas of the hospital to ensure they are available for clinic, you will need to cross reference patient documents with their notes to ensure we do not breach patient confidentially.
