The Capital Project Officer role is an integral support role to the successful delivery of capital funded projects being implemented within East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust; supporting the technical and operational programme managers through to successful completion of those projects.

Main duties of the job
The Estates and Facilities Team is passionate and committed to supporting the clinical care provided by the organisation through the pursuit of maintaining and improving the environment in which we work.
The post holder will be supported and managed by a programme manager; and will be responsible for leading a defined set of interdependent projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervised project management.
Administration of key meetings through the capture of action logs. risk registers, minutes and other supportive documents.
Manage and progress procurement of project items and equipment.
Ensuring clear communication with project stakeholders.
