Job summary

Are you looking for a challenging but rewarding career in healthcare? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Support Workerto join our teams in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Watford General Hospital.

This role involves rotating between the Cardiac Cath Lab and the Cardiac Centre, where you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients before and after cardiac procedures.

You will also assist in cardiology clinics by taking patient details, recording observations, and performing ECG recordings, while supporting clinical staff in delivering safe and effective care.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no weekends or Bank Holidays.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a specialist cardiology setting, develop new clinical skills, and work as part of a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will be an essential part of the nursing team. You will do a fantastic job providing care and support to our patients and their families.
