Main duties of the job
The purpose of this post is to support delivery of the Anchor Programme in West Hertfordshire which aims to transform how the health system designs, commissions and deliver services to address inequities.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the programme, focussing on two neighbourhood localities where existing services for older people will be delivered. You will be ensuring clear communication, engagement and effective delivery across all partners. This includes supporting VCFSE organisations, lived experience representatives, and statutory partners as they co-design and implement system-wide changes.
A significant part of your role will be managing programme administration, tracking progress against key milestones, and preparing reports for funders and governance committees. You will be responsible for mapping existing services. You will also help coordinate the Anchor Grant programme, providing direct support to grassroots organisations to help build their capability and capacity.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc, have strong, organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a deep commitment to promoting equity and empowering communities.
