We currently have a unique opening for a Patient Pathway Facilitator who is seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge within the Cancer department.
A keen team player, you will play a key role leading the MDT Teams to assist with the delivery of a high-quality weekly MDT.
The role will be based in Watford however cross cover may be required. The hours are 37.5 a week.

Main duties of the job
Our ideal candidate will have some Admin experience, NHS preferable but not essential.
You will need to have strong organizational skills, be capable of working to deadlines and have a high degree of accuracy.
Knowledge of hospital-based systems desirable however not essential.

You will be responsible for tracking all cancer referrals from referral through to treatment, monitoring wait times and making escalations to clinical teams to ensure compliance with national Cancer Waiting Time targets are met.
You will be responsible for the daily tracking and validation of Patients.
You will need to assist in the preparation of MDT meetings as well as providing cover in the absence of the MDT coordinator, processing & validating outcomes.
You will be liaising closely with other tertiary sites and obtaining and recording significant data requirements.
